Bathroom Renovation
The experience of working with Petta Construction to renovate our main bathroom and en-suite was flawless from beginning to end. From the first time we met with Nick to start the estimate process we knew we were working with an organization that was professional, organized and respectful. Of all the firms we sought quotes from they were the one firm that gave us confidence that our renovation was in the best hands. The estimate itself was well organized, clear, and detailed which allowed us to stay on budget and also allowed for easy communication on any changes we chose to make as the renovation progressed. Once timelines were established Petta arrived on schedule and worked to stay within their committed dates and timelines. Throughout the renovation they kept us up to date on current and next steps, as well as any unexpected findings, which in our case were mainly plumbing related. We were then able to have open conversations to discuss solutions that we approve of. Nick and Dino ensured that our home was as clear as possible at the end of each day of equipment and materials, which help minimize the disruption to family life. Our bathrooms are perfect and look exactly as we had envisioned. Petta Construction will be out go to firm and we would recommend them to anyone planning a home renovation.

Main Floor & Basement Renovation
From beginning to end of the process, Petta Construction made a multi-level renovation a seamless and stress-free experience. From the first time we met with Dino and Nick we knew our house, and our investment, would be in good hands. Their professionalism, courteousness and respectful nature created a sense of confidence for us. They were meticulous, neat, consistently on time and met all deadlines discussed at the beginning of the project. They finished our basement, including a small kitchen, bathroom, recreation and entertainment room, as well as opened up our main floor by knocking down a wall, creating an open staircase, updating the flooring throughout the entire house, giving a modern update to our mantle/fireplace, refinishing our stairs and painting the entire house. They truly transformed our house into our dream home! We sensed early on that Dino and Nick had our best interest in mind and allowed us to be a part of the whole project, communicating effectively throughout and ensuring we were happy with all decisions being made. We highly recommend Petta Construction and would hire them again in a heartbeat. We have already referred them to family and friends. Home Renovation
As a newcomer, I don’t know many people in Canada, so I had to rely on the meetings I had with a couple of contractors to make my decision. When I had the initial meeting with Dino Petta he said one thing that was crucial to me. He said: I will treat your house as it was mine. So simple and so meaningful. And, throughout the period he was at my house, this is exactly what he did. Whenever I had a decision to make, I asked for his advice, and it was always the right thing to do. He works with his son, Nicolas Petta, and they are both trustworthy and extremely handy. They always showed up on time, kept everything as clean and organized as possible, and delivered more than expected. I don’t know what is the next project, but I know for sure who I can trust to deliver it. I definitely recommend and endorse PETTA construction.

Home Addition
Dino along with his son, Nick, were contracted to design and build an addition extending the dining room. My wife and I found Dino to be very professional and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of current materials used and construction methods. As an excellent communicator, all concerns and questions were clearly explained and answered to our satisfaction. Aside from requested changes and modifications, the project was completed within the contracted quote. The end result is we now enjoy a large beautiful dinning room.

Bathroom Renovation
We recently had Petta Construction out to renovate our master ensuite bathroom. They reconfigured the space to allow us to fit in a his & hers custom vanity, expanded our shower space, put up a sliding barn style door and essentially built us our dream bathroom. They worked with us to achieve our desired outcome within our modest budget. They were very neat, respectful, courteous and friendly. This was our second project with Dino, Nicholas and Petta Construction and we will definitely be calling them again to help us with our future renovation plans. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to do high quality home renovations

Basement Renovation
I had my basement renovated by Petta Construction, and I am blown away at the quality and attention to detail they have.
I had gotten a few quotes prior to Dino coming out and I knew immediately he was the choice with how thorough he was. My wife and I have had some bad experiences in the past with contractors, as well as having had a house fire a few years ago where we had a very bad experience dealing with the contractors that insurance provided for us.
Once Dino and Nick started, we immediately realized the difference between them and other contractors we’ve had. We had previously set up an appointment with another company to replace our 4 basement windows and after telling Dino what they were charging he offered to buy the windows and install them for half the price. He also made a few changes along the way that really improved the layout and look of the basement all while staying within the budget of his quote. They definitely treated the Reno as if they were doing it for their own house and made sure everything was perfect.
They showed up each morning on time, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. Dino also communicated very well every step of the way to make sure everything was how we wanted.
The Reno turned out far better than I ever imagined, and I will definitely be contacting Petta Construction again in the future for other renovations.

Bathroom Renovation, Creating New Rooms
I first met Dino from Petta Construction when I hired him to renovate a physiotherapy clinic. The work was excellent, and he was able to work around my office hours so as not to disturb my patients. I was so impressed with his craftmanship I hired him to do work in my own home. He was able to turn a small, awkward bedroom into a large bedroom and also renovated an upstairs bathroom. He made excellent suggestions and was creative when solving issues that arose. His team was always on time, and cleaned up after they left. I highly recommend Petta Construction if you want excellent work performed. I felt the effort he put into the work was as if he was working on his own home. Dino was in constant communication at all times and all work was done within budget.

Reconfiguration of Top Floor: Fourth Bedroom Added, New Bathroom, Finished Basement
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND PETTA CONSTRUCTION (Dino and his son Nick) for all of your renovation needs! We had a large renovation across all three floors of our home. Our top floor was redesigned to build a fourth bedroom. This included a brand new washroom, two new bedrooms, creating a skylight, a brand new staircase and a new roof. We also had work completed on our main floor: brand new ceilings, our back wall being blown out and a triple slider door installed, plus the removal of a wood beam. The work in our unfinished basement included our laundry being relocated to our top floor and our entire basement being finished.
We interviewed multiple contractors, but our decision was easy from the first time we met Dino. He listened to our needs, was solution-based and offered us different ideas we had not thought of. As well, he was incredibly patient (which one would need to be to work with our indecisiveness on such a large renovation).
Every day, Dino and his son Nick showed up on time and read to work. They delivered according to their timelines and left our home clean every single night for us to still live in. If you are looking for a RELIABLE, SOLUTION-BASED, PATIENT, HARDWORKING contractor we HIGHLY RECOMMEND PETTA CONSTRUCTION. We will 100% use them again for our future renovations when the time comes. Home Renovation
We contracted the Petta team to finish our basement. From the get go, prior to even hiring them, they put extra effort into the planning process, trying to figure out the best way to maximize space and functionality. Once hired, they allowed us to make certain minor changes and additions on the fly without any hassle. During the renovation phase they kept us in the loop on the progress and provided us with timely updates. Big efforts were taken to keep work areas clean and clutter free. They also worked hard to ensure supplies were ordered and brought on site in time to avoid delays.
Apart from all this, their quality of work is top notch, they use high quality materials and have excellent trades people working for them.
We are very happy with the over all experience and highly recommend Petta Constuction for anybody hunting around for contractors. On time, on budget and great work to boot, what more can one ask for.

Kitchen and Dining Room Remodel
We hired Petta construction to help us remodel our home. This was a very good decision! From the initial email and phone call to shaking hands and congratulating each other on a beautiful renovation, working with the Petta family was an excellent, stress free experience. Basement Renovation
Dino had done a basement renovation for another family member and we were impressed with the quality and workmanship. We had him give us an estimate for our basement. The estimate wasn’t the lowest but his estimate did offer added features (pocket doors, oak staircase, upgraded bathroom) the others were offerring the very basic finish. Dino’s offer was very clearly written and any questions were cleared up so there were no surprises. Once agreed upon work was started and completed on time and on budget. During construction he would let us know what he was planning so you felt a part of the whole process and you had a chance to add your input. Dino and all his trades people were always polite and answered any questions we had.

Basement Renovation
My wife and I could not have chosen a better contractor than Dino Petta to help with the overall design, cabinetry choices, wall and flooring materials, and electrical/plumbing requirements involved with our basement finishing. Home Renovation
We hired Dino and his team from Petta Construction after seeing the amazing work they did at a family members house. They installed hardwood on our second story, put new trim down and reconstructed our staircase. The work that they did was excellent and my family couldn’t be happier with the changes they made to our house. The team worked incredibly hard to meet all the timelines set and made a point to clean up after themselves daily. Their attention to detail is second to none. Basement Renovation
This project was to build a live-in quarters for a care-giver consisting of a bedroom, 3 piece bathroom, office, living area and a wine cellar. A financial budget was provided to Petta. He listened carefully to our needs and proposed a design that was good functionally and made wise use of the space available. Petta subsequently suggested further improvements as he went which were very nice touches. I can see that Petta genuinely cared about their work and my satisfaction with my home.
I proposed a completion timeline which Petta was able to work within. They worked at the job full-time every day and completed the job within the original budget and ahead of schedule. They also worked around the arrival of guests, ensuring the framing and noisy work was completed prior to arrival so quieter works could be done.
This contractor is very clean. They put down tarps to protect floors all the way to the work area and clean up at the end of every day. The people were professional. After this job, I describe Petta Construction as professional and caring. They treated us with respect always and explained every possibility thoroughly. They cased in a jackpost very smartly. All trim and baseboards are professionally cut and installed.
I am very happy with the new living space and every aspect of the job. I have nothing negative to say – I will partner with them again for any future work I require. Highly recommended! Excellent value.

The work was done in the time frame quoted, for what we feel was a reasonable cost. We felt like they treated our home as if it were their own. They were prompt, courteous, helpful, and cleaned up daily. Their suggestions and added extras we received were invaluable and very much appreciated. Petta was great. They turned an open space into two closed rooms, one for laundry and one as a consultation room. They did a great job, did it quickly, and even worked after hours to minimize disruption to our business. Very responsive to our needs & great with communication. Laundry Room
Dino Petta fitted up a small bedroom to accommodate a washer and dryer that was to be tucked away in the closet. I had a hard time finding someone to do the job as it was a fairly small job so most contractors were not interested in doing it. Because it involved electrical, plumbing and knocking a hole in the wall the job was to much for just a handyman.
I reached out through Trustedpros and Dino answered the call. I did my homework and had an idea how much the job would cost and that was pretty much what Dino quoted me.
He did a great job, exactly what I had in mind and no surprises. He was punctual, cleaned up after, worked with my schedule, and was careful not to let the cats out.
I will definitely be calling him back for any other renovations I need and I would recommend him.

Home Renovation
I have trusted Petta Construction with 4 renovation projects due to how satisfied my wife and I have been with their work.
Our 1st project was an addition onto the front of our home of a 33’x16′ living room and steps down to an entrance room with closet and basement. We are very happy with the design, attention to detail and workmanship, friendly, warm attitudes and the consultative approach consistently employed by Petta Construction. The project was completed on time and on budget even though new ideas were suggested and adopted as we went. We also had Dino and team rebuild a bathroom and add a new 108’x23′ concrete driveway which is the nicest in the neighbourhood. My Buddhist temple neighbours remarked to me that Petta Construction cares.
Our most recent project is a near complete rebuild of a lakefront home. Petta produced a design within our budget which fulfilled our dreams. 27′ of new home was added to the front including basement and another 14′ added to the side. We now have a new living room, large garage, bathroom, bedroom, exercise room, games room and kitchen.
Dino leads the design and permitting process and has teams that are the best at what they do. The carpentry, floors and electrical all receive compliments from our visitors. I could not get better prices. Our new kitchen is nicer than all the kitchens I have seen in magazines and Houzz.
I highly recommend you consider Petta for all construction needs. What you will get is an honest, caring and skilled team making your vision become reality at a reasonable cost.

Construction of an In Law Suite
Petta Construction provided the utmost care in this construction. Dino was very thoroughly and gave this job the same attention he would have in doing his own home. The work was done in a timely fashion and we were more than pleased on the final outcome. Dino drew up great plans and had very unique ideas on what we could do. I would highly recommend him to anybody. His trades were all very professional and did high quality work. All in all we couldn’t have picked a better person.

Kitchen Renovation
I have never had a contractor so reliable, on time with schedule, on site always, with his crew, hands on, his work is impeccable and up to code, standards. He will research out a fix if a problem occurs, explains everything if a problem, and will not overlook the customers concerns.
I am looking forward in the new year doing business with him again. I would recommend him to anyone, he work is excellent.

Basement Apartment
Dino and his crew built a full 2 bedroom apartment in our basement. He designed a very comfortable and functional suite complete with kitchen, bathroom and living room. He finished within the quote he gave me and time allotted. Very pleasant to work with and would recommend him.
